According to the analyst, Solana can outperform even the popular ETH!

In recent days, the cryptocurrency market is slowly but surely waking up from its lethargy, and the main movers are showing their strength again. While Bitcoin climbed above the magical $93,000 mark yesterday, setting other altcoins in motion, investor attention is starting to shift to less traditional players.

Ethereum (ETH), until now considered the leader among altcoins, has surpassed the $1,800 mark and has seen a 13.5% rise in the last 24 hours. Similarly, XRP has gained 7.2%, Dogecoin (DOGE) 13% and Solana (SOL) 7%. This growth has pushed the price of Solana to the $150 level, a significant milestone in its development.

And it is Solana that is now the subject of attention - not only for its numbers, but also thanks to the famous analyst Peter Brandt, who has more than 50 years of experience in the market. He recently published very optimistic views that SOL could even overtake Ethereum in its growth wave.

Brandt pointed to a technical analysis of the SOL/ETH chart, which he said has developed a familiar "cup and handle" pattern - a bullish pattern that is often associated with a significant breakout to the upside. This signal suggests that Solana could see significant upside against Ethereum in the coming weeks, perhaps even doubling in value.

"ETH is currently invalid," Brandt said, pointing to rising trading volumes and SOL's strong technical position. According to him, the cryptocurrency may experience a significant explosion in the near future and become the new leader in decentralized platforms.

Support for Solana is also coming from institutions. Ark Invest, led by Cathy Wood, has made its first direct investment in SOL, while cryptocurrency company Galaxy Digital has sold its stake in Ethereum and moved its funds into Solana from Binance.

What's next? Whether this is indeed the beginning of a new era or just a short-term blip, one thing is for sure - Solana definitely deserves the attention of all investors who want to follow the latest trends in the crypto world right now. And the main question is: is this the beginning of the end of Ethereum's dominance, or just a temporary surge of interest? Time will tell.
